“We acknowledge that people drive design. Our humanistic approach looks for social justice, sustainability and high-quality environments”
We are a global and collaborative firm led by Mauricio Ceballos. He, alongside FR-EE and Foster + Partners, directed the New Airport in Mexico City (NAIM), the most ambitious infrastructure project undertaken in Mexico in the past 50 years. We envision good design as a workflow between clients, groups, and specialists, and operate under the philosophy that good design is not the product of masterminds, but rather stems from well-integrated teams, a systematic process, excellent communication, and consistent values.
Having designed many of the most well-known projects in the country–like the Soumaya Museum, Plaza Carso, G-20 Convention Center, Hyperloop, NAIM–and other international projects–like Shenzhen Technology Center, Xiamen, Xili Hub, and Super Headquarters among others in China–while working with exceptional talents, MCxA has proven it has the experience and knowledge to develop any project in time, within budget, and at the highest quality. We believe in the power of research to transform our environments for a future that is more sustainable and equal, and guide the design of architecture that surprises, connects our users, and provides value to our clients. We focus on high-quality design through all types, scales, and typologies.
Our full design services include architecture, interior design, furniture design, material selection, landscaping, and purchase for an integrated, holistic model; we always operate under our client’s vision and desires to achieve their goals. We approach building with intuitive sensibility, using advanced software and analytical tools that allow us to understand each building's comfort, energy, daylight management, and ventilation.
