Rethinking The Future Awards is one of the most Renowned Awards in the field of Architecture and Design. It seeks to raise awareness around the strategies Architects and Designers are employing to deal with the contemporary global challenges, strategies and to bring the best of such projects into the light to inspire the next generation. We are happy to share Casa Mague was awarded 3rd Place Winner at the Housing- up to 5 floors (built) Category. Aniversary Cover
This special edition was dedicated to Mexico, home of revolutionary minds and artisan hands, to its colors and traditions, its local artists, architects, designers and everyone that has contributed to the growth of this culture. It was a great pleasure to be part of “Mexico en el Corazón” (20th edition) with one of our most recent projects, Casa Mague, a house that merges with the local nature and highlights mexican culture through its design details.
We are happy to share with you our new work place/base!
After months of planning, remodeling and hard work, we finally settled at Lazcano 20. Located at the historic neighborhood of San Angel, Mexico City, the modern style house and atelier of a former mexican Architect (Augusto H. Alvarez) was in need of a restoration. Through the use warm materials, light colors and the integrations of nature, we transformed the house into the ideal environment for working.
