We're looking for a strategic support professional who enables the Design Manager to focus on high-level decisions. You'll be the bridge between leadership, multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external consultants — keeping projects, schedules, and documentation under control at all times.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and track simultaneous architectural projects (hospitality, residential, and commercial)
Manage the Design Manager's calendar, meetings, and communications with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and new project pitches
Maintain project documentation in Notion: databases, tracking boards, and wikis
Flag risks and deviations in design team deliverables before they become problems
Coordinate the receipt, review, and distribution of technical documentation (drawings, specifications, contracts)
Manage internal workflows and automations to optimize department productivity
Research regulations, design trends, and project references as needed
Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience coordinating architectural or construction projects. Final-year students with a strong interest in the role are also encouraged to apply.

Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication in Spanish; intermediate-advanced English is a plus — Proficiency in Notion (databases, automations, tracking boards)

Basic reading and interpretation of technical drawings (AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp)

This senior technical role manages federated models, clash detection workflows, and BIM Execution Plans — acting as the key link between architects, engineers, and external consultants on projects of multiple scales and typologies.

MCXA is seeking a Site Resident Engineer with a permanent on-site presence, solid technical judgment, and a non-negotiable culture of quality.
As the primary field representative of the MCXA team, you will serve as the first filter for quality and the first line of defense against site deviations. You have the immediate authority to suspend any activity that compromises personnel integrity. Absolute priority: Safety > Quality > Cost > Time.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Supervision: Oversee execution across all work fronts (F-1 to F-5), ensuring procedures align with current IFC drawings and approved specifications.
- Activity Authorization: Issue the "Start of Activities" authorization for each front and package; no work begins without Residency approval.
- QA/QC Management: Execute the release system and hold points; apply and record quality checklists and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) within Procore.
- Contractor Coordination: Coordinate physical interfaces between contractors, including sequences, overlapping fronts, and protection of finished works.
- Safety & Compliance: Verify permanent compliance with the SHE Manual; record incidents in Procore in < 2 hours and notify the Site Director immediately.
- Reporting: Prepare daily site reports with photographic evidence and progress updates; provide weekly reports per front to the Site Director and CPM Committee.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Engineering (Professional License required). Specialization in Construction Management or BIM is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Resident Engineer or Supervisor in large-scale corporate, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Technical Expertise: Simultaneous supervision of structure, MEP, building envelopes, and finishes; direct coordination of multiple specialized contractors in the field.
- Systems: Application of QA/QC systems and formal inspections; proficiency in Procore or equivalent platforms.
Key Competencies
- Technical Authority: Ability to make immediate field decisions with sound judgment and proactive rejection of deficient work.
- Documentary Rigor: Consistent recording of every finding, release, or deviation without delay. Absolute integrity.
- Languages: Native Spanish; basic technical English for data sheets and specifications.
Conditions
- Location: Permanent on-site presence in León, Guanajuato.
- Availability: On-call in < 2 hours for after-hours incidents. Estimated duration: 22 months.
- Equipment: Laptop, tablet, Procore access, radio, and institutional email provided. Standard PPE is mandatory on-site.

Design Internship – Architecture Studio
Internships have a minimum duration of six months, ensuring that participants are meaningfully engaged in both the creative and technical processes of the studio. Specific responsibilities are determined after the application process, as they depend on each candidate’s background, skills, and experience.
