We are a global and collaborative firm led by Mauricio Ceballos. He, alongside FR-EE and Foster + Partners, directed the New Airport in Mexico City (NAIM), the most ambitious infrastructure project undertaken in Mexico in the past 50 years. We envision good design as a workflow between clients, groups, and specialists, and operate under the philosophy that good design is not the product of masterminds, but rather stems from well-integrated teams, a systematic process, excellent communication, and consistent values.

    For over 25 years, he has played a leading role in shaping major architectural projects in Mexico and abroad, serving as co-designer and project leader for the Museo Soumaya, Plaza Carso, the G-20 Convention Center, and the New Mexico City Airport. Internationally, he developed the Guadalupe Church in Miami and led multiple competitions in China, including a master plan for CR-Land in Xiamen and a shortlisted proposal for the Shenzhen Science and Technology Center. Formerly CEO of Fernando Romero Enterprise (FREE), he has also taught at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, and has been recognized with numerous honors while being frequently invited to lecture on architecture, airport design, and museums, as well as to serve on international juries.

    Gerardo holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad La Salle de Morelia, an MBA from IPADE, and a specialization in International Finance from both IPADE and Wharton Business School, as well as a master’s in French linguistics and phonetics. He was part of the founding team of Banco Azteca in Mexico, where he managed savings products, later served as Deputy Director across several divisions, and played a key role in the bank’s expansion into seven Latin American countries by leading the rollout of credit and savings products. He has also served as CEO of Fundación Dondé, overseeing its transformation into a bank, and as CEO of DXN Express, a group of credit companies, while continuing to share his expertise as a guest lecturer at universities and advisor to financial institutions in Mexico.

  • As Head of our Design Department, Francisco is a senior architect with more than 25 years of experience. He serves as the Design Leader and mentor, conceptualizing, developing, and implementing innovative design solutions. He develops pioneering solutions and overall strategies to address client goals, resulting in consistent, high-quality, and exceptional design experiences. Francisco specializes in the development of construction documents.

  • As Construction Senior Director, he supervises the planning, organization, direction, control, and evaluation of construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and the client's budget. His rational approach complements the design phase by developing and implementing quality control programs.

César Eduardo Talavera

  • Throughout his career, César has gained experience working with companies dedicated to real estate development. At MCxA, he oversees everything from the sale, purchase, or financing of residences to the acquisition, permitting, construction, and leasing of commercial real estate projects. He is currently the Head of our Legal Department.

Luis Vicente Flores

  • He is a member of a breakthrough modern generation that emerged in a magazine during the '90s. Luis Vicente has a strong focus on the conception and design of architectural and urban projects. His work comprises the whole process, from early conceptual work to detailed construction documents. As Project Director, Luis Vicente has developed experience in evaluating technical proposals and coordinating the different groups of experts involved in the process. He takes part in both the theoretical and practical aspects of projects related to architecture and urban design.

  • Unai is an architect licensed in Spain and a consultant to leading A/E/C firms. He has over a dozen years of international architectural design experience and has led numerous award-winning projects in Miami, New York, Barcelona, and Mexico City. Projects led by Unai include the installation for the London Design Biennale 2016, the New Airport of Mexico City, the Latin American Art Museum in Miami, and the “You Are the Context” launch exhibition at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

  • Mathew is an experienced architect specializing in large, complex building developments. He has worked on and led important projects such as the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum for Frank Gehry, the Soumaya Museum for FREE, and the New Mexico Airport for FREE and Foster & Partners. He has more than 30 years of experience developing solutions for unique buildings.

  • Part of our Design Team, Dionisio serves as one of our Lead Architects. He specializes in ensuring architectural coherence across multiple delivery workstreams and implementing strategies tailored to client needs. Dionisio brings extensive experience in technical project development to our team.

Deysi López

  • Deysi is involved in the development of detailed construction documents, ensuring that specifications align with drawings to meet both project and client requirements. She has extensive experience in developing large-scale projects and master plans. Deysi excels at leading teams of architects and organizing consultants to drive projects forward efficiently and effectively. Her leadership ensures that all aspects of the project are coordinated seamlessly, resulting in successful and timely project completion. Additionally, she ensures smooth project execution.

  • With over 15 years of experience, Israel oversees projects from conceptual stages through to execution. He leads and manages large-scale projects, ensuring they are developed effectively and efficiently. His responsibilities include developing executive projects and creating master plans, ensuring all aspects align with client objectives and industry standards. Israel is an experienced leader who coordinates multidisciplinary teams to execute complex and ambitious projects.

With her attention to detail and commitment to quality, she ensures that every aspect of the project meets the highest standards. Fernanda's role involves close collaboration with the design team and clients to translate ideas into actionable plans.

  • As a Junior Architect, Mariel contributes and supports the architectural projects; from preparing design plans, completing construction documents, and assisting in the presentation of design drawings.

  • Frida is responsible for the development of executive projects, ensuring that every detail is planned and executed. Her role includes creating detailed drawings that guide the construction process. Additionally, Frida sources high-quality finishes and furniture that align with the project's design vision and client preferences. She also prepares sales graphics that communicate the project's aesthetic and functional aspects. 

  • As a Junior Architect, Anne contributes to and supports architectural projects by preparing design plans, completing construction documents, and assisting in the presentation of design drawings.

David Gómez

Lucyle Wagner

  • Architect with a master's degree in history and theory, and 8 years of experience in developing projects through all design phases in Mexico and Colombia. Skilled in formulating technical criteria from the early stages of a project and interacting with engineers and specialists. For the past 5 years, has been a project leader and participated in master plans, residential, and educational projects. Also has experience as a speaker at events and as an author in publications.

  • Lucyle is an architect licensed from the Ecole Spéciale d'architecture in France, with a Master's degree in Architecture. She is a dedicated design leader with extensive experience in construction documents. Lucyle was responsible for the complex coordination of BHS/MEP and architecture for the new airport in Mexico City.

Jesús Zarate

  • As part of the construction team, Jesus is responsible for supervising and resolving on-site details, ensuring that all aspects of the construction process run smoothly. He performs material quantifications and prepares detailed budgets to ensure the projects are completed within the allocated resources and timelines. Jesus’s expertise in identifying and addressing potential issues on-site allows him to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the construction process.

Julia Calderon

  • With Master's and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Education, Julia has more than 15 years of experience in large-scale projects. She specializes in the design of technological solutions, supervision, construction resident coordination, and project management.

    Julia serves in the academic field as a research professor at the National Polytechnic Institute. As our COO, she oversees the proper operations management of the group.

Sonia Sánchez

  • Sonia is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company. She develops and monitors budgets, conducts financial analysis, and prepares reports to ensure the company's financial health. She also evaluates financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency. Her meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach ensure that the company's financial planning and management align with its goals and objectives, contributing significantly to its overall success.

  • Uriel is part of our Executive Support Team, assisting the Project Management Department in coordinating and following up on goals and objectives for each project. He is responsible for managing the team agenda, maintaining diaries, scheduling internal and external meetings, and communicating with clients and partners as necessary.

  • In the finance department, Vanessa plays a key role in managing and overseeing financial operations. She assists in budget development, monitors financial performance, conducts analyses, and prepares reports to support the company's financial well-being. Vanessa actively evaluates financial data, identifies trends, and explores opportunities to improve cost efficiency. Her proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail contribute significantly to the department's effective financial planning and management, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
