Mauricio Ceballos x Architects
MCxA is a global architecture firm based in Mexico City, led by Mauricio Ceballos. Alongside Foster + Partners and FR-EE, Ceballos co-directed the New International Airport of Mexico City (NAIM) — the most ambitious infrastructure project in Mexico in the last 50 years. With over 25 years of practice spanning hospitality, civic, residential, and urban design, MCxA operates through integrated teams, systematic process, and a shared commitment to contextual, sustainable architecture across Mexico, Latin America, and beyond.
Studio Philosophy
MCxA approaches every project as a collaboration between context, client, and craft. Our methodology integrates site analysis, environmental strategy, and cultural research from the first day of design, producing architecture that is specific, durable, and deeply rooted in place.
Global Reach
From Mexico City to Guyana, China, Senegal, and the United States, MCxA has delivered architecture across five continents — adapting local knowledge to global standards while maintaining a consistent commitment to sustainable, human-centered design.
Studio Location
MCxA is based in Colonia San Miguel Chapultepec, Mexico City — a studio environment that reflects the firm's values: adaptive reuse, material honesty, and connection to the urban fabric of CDMX.
