Context
Situated along a peaceful seaside setting, the hotel required a comprehensive remodeling to address issues of street noise that disrupted the tranquility of the guest experience. The project’s primary objective was to enhance acoustic comfort while revitalizing the architectural character of the property.
Beyond technical improvements, the renovation sought to redefine the spatial experience, aligning the design with contemporary hospitality standards and the natural serenity of its coastal surroundings.
Design Principles
The design introduced a series of architectural buffers between the street and the hotel, integrating landscaping elements and a waterfall feature that functions both as a visual attraction and a natural sound barrier. These interventions effectively mitigate exterior noise while maintaining an atmosphere of calm and sophistication.
At the same time, the front-of-house areas were reconfigured to open up sea views, enhancing the connection between interior spaces and the ocean. The redesign of interiors and amenity zones balanced functionality with comfort, addressing acoustic, spatial, and aesthetic needs simultaneously.
The result is a renewed hotel environment where architecture, landscape, and sound design converge to create a serene, immersive coastal experience for guests.
