Context
Located on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, the project sits within one of the country’s most visited beach destinations, where turquoise waters and white sand set the backdrop for a hospitality experience that balances leisure and luxury.
Hyatt Beach Club stands out by offering a refined seaside retreat that combines exclusivity with direct access to nature, creating a space where comfort and landscape flow seamlessly together.
Design Principles
The architecture is conceived to dissolve boundaries between built space and open air. A distinctive structural system of circular concrete pillars allows light to filter through, creating shifting patterns of shade while keeping the interiors connected to their surroundings. This approach avoids blocking the natural context, instead framing it as an integral part of the experience.
The design pursues harmony between geometry and landscape. Repetition and rhythm in the structural elements lend a sense of order, while the openness of the plan ensures uninterrupted views of the sea and vegetation. More than a conventional beach club, the project becomes a sensory environment where light, material, and nature converge to elevate the experience of the coast.
