Context
The I-Konic Tower is a mixed-use development located in Progreso, Yucatán, designed to serve as both a residential and commercial landmark. The project encompasses 13,650 m² and rises 13 stories high, with 12 residential levels above a commercial ground floor that activates the public realm and integrates the tower into the urban fabric.
Offering approximately 94 residential units, the building responds to the region’s growing demand for contemporary coastal living, combining functionality, comfort, and connection to the surrounding landscape.
Design Principles
The design emphasizes efficient spatial organization and maximized views, creating two distinct apartment typologies that cater to diverse lifestyles while ensuring optimal use of space. Each unit is oriented to capture panoramic vistas of the Progreso port and coastline, enhancing the experience of seaside living..
A series of amenities and communal areas complement the residential program, encouraging interaction among residents and promoting a sense of community. The result is a modern, elegant tower that merges architecture and context, offering an elevated living experience along Yucatán’s vibrant shoreline
